Proposed 25-Storey Building at 2030 Caroline St. in Burlington: Residents to Have a Say

If residents are keen on having a say regarding the proposed development of a 25-storey mixed-use building at 2030 Caroline St., they are encouraged to attend a virtual pre-application community consultation meeting on April 9. This meeting will be hosted by the developer, Inaria.

Project Details

Inaria’s proposed building is slated to have approximately 240 residential units, comprising a mix of one and two-bedroom units. Additionally, the building will feature a six-level above-grade parking structure and ground floor commercial space.

As of now, no formal applications have been submitted to the city regarding this development. Once an application is submitted, residents within 120 meters of the site will receive a notice.

Approval Process

For this development to move forward, Official Plan and zoning bylaw amendments will be necessary. These amendments are critical components of the approval process.

Community Consultation Meeting

During the virtual meeting, city planners will provide insights into the development application review process and discuss the existing planning policies at the proposed building site. The developer, Inaria, will present the development concept.

After the presentations, residents will have the opportunity to share their comments, ask questions, and engage in discussions regarding the proposed development.
