HALTON & HAMILTON – In response to ongoing economic challenges, Innovation Factory has unveiled its latest initiative: the Concept Catalyst program. Tailored specifically for early-stage startups, this program aims to help entrepreneurs turn their innovative concepts into thriving businesses.

As Canada faces an unpredictable economic environment, nurturing homegrown innovation has never been more vital. The Concept Catalyst program is designed to strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute to long-term economic resilience and global competitiveness.

“With economic uncertainty and shifting global markets, it’s more important than ever to invest in Canadian innovation and entrepreneurship,” said David Carter, CEO of Innovation Factory. “Concept Catalyst is here to give early-stage founders the mentorship, resources, and confidence needed to validate their ideas and build scalable businesses.”

The program will feature a blend of expert-led workshops, self-directed learning modules, and personalized guidance. Participants will be supported through key stages of early business development, including market validation, business planning, and product development.

Innovation Factory has already made a significant impact in Ontario’s tech startup ecosystem—supporting over 3,500 companies, delivering more than 48,000 hours of expert advice, and helping secure over $1.2 billion in investment. These efforts have resulted in $730 million in revenue and the creation of nearly 7,000 jobs.

As the region’s innovation landscape continues to evolve, Innovation Factory remains dedicated to adapting its programs to meet emerging needs. Concept Catalyst represents the next step in that mission—empowering entrepreneurs to bring bold, transformative ideas to life.
