A man has been apprehended on charges of allegedly engaging in lewd behavior by exposing himself and performing indecent acts while touching a female passenger on a GO Transit bus.
According to Halton police, the incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Monday on a GO bus traveling westbound through Burlington.
Reportedly, the man exposed himself and proceeded to masturbate on the bus while making physical contact with a female passenger. The victim promptly informed the driver.
Fortunately, the female passenger did not sustain any physical injuries.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) arrested 26-year-old Cameron Henry, who currently has no fixed address. Henry is facing two charges, including sexual assault and failure to comply with a probation order.
“Investigators suspect there may be additional victims and urge anyone with information or who has been victimized by the accused to reach out to the HRPS Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit,” stated a police release.
Additionally, authorities have shared a photo of Henry and noted that he is known to utilize public transit systems for inter-jurisdictional travel.
